This order is made under section 23(1)(a) of the Public Service Act 2020 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

1 Title
This order is the Public Service (Office of Treaty Settlements and Takutai Moana—Te Tari Whakatau) Order 2025.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 12 June 2025.
3 Principal Act
Clause 4 amends the Public Service Act 2020.
4 Schedule 2 amended
In Schedule 2, Part 2, item relating to Office for Māori Crown Relations—Te Arawhiti, replace the item in the first column with:

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 12 June 2025, amends the Public Service Act 2020 by replacing the Office for Māori Crown Relations—Te Arawhiti, in the list of departmental agencies set out in Part 2 of Schedule 2 of that Act, with the Office of Treaty Settlements and Takutai Moana—Te Tari Whakatau.
