Her Excellency the Governor-General in Council
This order is made under section 31 of the Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022—
(a)
on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
(b)
on the recommendation of the Minister of Health made only on the advice of the Māori Health Authority.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Pae Ora (Iwi-Māori Partnership Boards) Order 2022.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 13 January 2023.
3 Principal Act
Clause 4 amends the Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022.
4 Schedule 4 amended
In Schedule 4, replace the table with the provisions set out in the Schedule of this order.

1 Interpretation
In this Part, unless the context otherwise requires,—
district has the same meaning as in section 5(1) of the Local Government Act 2002
local board area has the same meaning as in section 5(1) of the Local Government Act 2002
territorial authority has the same meaning as in section 5(1) of the Local Government Act 2002.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 13 January 2023, amends Schedule 4 of the Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022 to recognise 11 iwi-Māori partnership boards and to describe the areas covered by those boards.
Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2019.
