This order is the Local Government (City Rail Link Limited) Exemption Order 2017.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 18 August 2017.

3 Exemption

City Rail Link Limited (company number 6267870) is exempted for the purposes of section 6(4)(i) of the Local Government Act 2002.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 18 August 2017, is made under section 7 of the Local Government Act 2002. The order exempts City Rail Link Limited for the purposes of section 6(4)(i) of that Act, the effect of which is that City Rail Link Limited is not a council-controlled organisation under that Act.
