Pursuant to section 2(2) of the Building Amendment Act 2013, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

  • This order is the Building Amendment Act 2013 Commencement Order 2014.

2 Commencement of certain provisions of Building Amendment Act 2013

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings sections 4(4), 5(3), 20, 48, 56 to 60, 66, and 67(3) of the Building Amendment Act 2013 (the Act) into force on 1 January 2015.

The remainder of the Act came into force on 28 November 2013.

Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.

Date of notification in Gazette: 4 December 2014.

This order is administered by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment.
