Order

1 Title

This order is the Legislation (Recognition of Overseas Lawyers) Order 2014.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 19 May 2014.

3 Specified countries and jurisdictions

This clause specifies for the purposes of section 137(1)(b) and (2)(b) of the Legislation Act 2019 the following countries or jurisdictions:

(a)

Australia (including, without limitation, all or any of the States or Territories of Australia):

(b)

Canada (including, without limitation, all or any of the Provinces or Territories of Canada):

(c)

Ireland:

(d)

United Kingdom (including, without limitation, all or any of England and Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland, but excluding British Overseas Territories).

1 General

This is a consolidation of the Legislation (Recognition of Overseas Lawyers) Order 2014 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
