Pursuant to section 2(1) of the Juries Amendment Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Juries Amendment Act 2011 Commencement Order 2011.
2 Commencement of sections 4 to 6 of Juries Amendment Act 2011
Sections 4 to 6 of the Juries Amendment Act 2011 come into force on 5 March 2012.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force certain provisions of the Juries Amendment Act 2011 on 5 March 2012.
The provisions being brought into force amend the Juries Act 1981 to provide that a proceeding may continue with fewer than 10 jurors in certain circumstances.
Date of notification in Gazette: 17 November 2011.
This order is administered by the Ministry of Justice.
