Pursuant to section 1(3) of the State-Owned Enterprises Amendment Act 1992, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title
This order is the State-Owned Enterprises Amendment Act 1992 (MCS Limited) Commencement Order 2010.
2 Commencement of section 16 of State-Owned Enterprises Amendment Act 1992
Section 16 of the State-Owned Enterprises Amendment Act 1992 comes into force on 1 July 2010.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings section 16 of the State-Owned Enterprises Amendment Act 1992 into force on 1 July 2010. That section provides for the removal of MCS Limited from Schedules 1 and 2 of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986. MCS Limited was added to Schedules 1 and 2 of that Act in 1992. However, it was never formally incorporated as a company, and therefore inclusion in Schedules 1 and 2 is redundant.
