Preamble
At Wellington this 13th day of August 2007
Pursuant to section 9 of the Tariff Act 1988, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
1 Title
This order is the Tariff (Concession) Amendment Order 2007.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 1 September 2007.
3 Tariff amended
Part 2 of the Tariff is amended by revoking paragraph (c) of reference number 82 and substituting the following paragraph:
“(c) 3 bottles, or other containers, containing in each bottle or container not more than 1 125 millilitres of alcoholic spirits, liqueurs, or other spirituous beverages”

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 1 September 2007, raises the duty free allowance for alcoholic spirits (including liqueurs) brought into New Zealand by passengers. The new concession applies to 3 bottles of spirits, with a limit of 1 125 millilitres per bottle.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
