This order is administered in the Ministry of Economic Development.

Pursuant to section 9 of the Tariff Act 1988, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title

  • This order is the Tariff Amendment Order 2006.

2 Commencement

  • This order comes into force on 1 May 2006.

3 Tariff amended

  • The Tariff is amended by revoking so much of Part 1 as relates to various Tariff items.

4 Consequential revocations

  • (1) The Tariff (Zero Duty Removal) Amendment Order 2000 (SR 2000/110) is amended by revoking so much of the Schedule as relates to various Tariff items.

    (2) The Tariff (Harmonised System) Amendment Order 2001 (SR 2001/389) is amended by revoking so much of Schedule 2 as relates to Tariff items 6906.00.00 and 8467.99.19.

    (3) The Tariff Amendment Order 2004 (SR 2004/425) is amended by revoking so much of the Schedule as relates to various Tariff items.

    (4) The Tariff Amendment Order 2005 (SR 2005/177) is amended by revoking so much of the Schedule as relates to various Tariff items.
