These regulations are made under section 48 of the Cadastral Survey Act 2002 and section 227 of the Land Transfer Act 2017 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

1 Title
These regulations are the Land Information New Zealand (Fees and Charges) Amendment Regulations 2024.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 3 February 2025.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Land Information New Zealand (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2003.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 3 February 2025, amend the Land Information New Zealand (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2003.
These regulations increase the fees payable for searches for cadastral data. The electronic search fee is increased from $6 to $8 and the manual search fee is increased from $25 to $52. The fees include goods and services tax.
