Fisheries (Commercial Fishing) Amendment Regulations (No 5) 2004

These regulations are administered in the Ministry of Fisheries.

Pursuant to section 297 of the Fisheries Act 1996, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

  • These regulations come into force on 14 January 2005.

3 Offences

  • Regulation 84(3) of the principal regulations is amended by omitting the expression “75(1)”, and substituting the expression “75”.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations amend the Fisheries (Commercial Fishing) Regulations 2001 ( “the principal regulations”). They come into force on 14 January 2005.

The amendment makes a technical drafting correction to clarify the scope of the offence arising under regulation 75 of the principal regulations.
