Note
This order is administered in the Department of Conservation.
PURSUANT to section 1(3) of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
1 Title
This order may be cited as the Conservation Act Commencement Order (No 2) 1990.
2 Commencement of sections 6L, 26B, and 26P of Conservation Act 1987
Section 6L of the Conservation Act 1987 (as inserted by section 5 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), and sections 26B and 26P of the Conservation Act 1987 (as inserted by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), shall come into force on the 19th day of July 1990.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force, on 19 July 1990, sections 6L, 26B, and 26P of the Conservation Act 1987.
Section 6L provides for the appointment of Conservation Boards.
Section 26B establishes the New Zealand Fish and Game Council.
Section 26P establishes Fish and Game Councils.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
