Note
This order is administered in the Department of Conservation.
PURSUANT to section 1(3) of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
1 Title
This order may be cited as the Conservation Act Commencement Order 1990.
2 Commencement of section 6A of Conservation Act 1987
Section 6A of the Conservation Act 1987 (as inserted by section 5 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990) shall come into force on the 25th day of May 1990.

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force, on 25 May 1990, section 6A of the Conservation Act 1987.
That section establishes the New Zealand Conservation Authority.
