Pursuant to section 28ZL of the Fisheries Act 1983 (as inserted by section 13 of the Fisheries Amendment Act (No 2) 1992), His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries, hereby makes the following order.
Order
1 Title and application
(1)
This order may be cited as the Fisheries (Southern Scallop Fishery Annual Allowable Catch) Order 1995.
(2)
This order shall apply in respect of every southern scallop season commencing on or after 30 August 1995.
2 Annual allowable catch reduced
Schedule 1D to the Fisheries Act 1983 (as inserted by section 23 of the Fisheries Amendment Act (No 2) 1992) is hereby amended by omitting from Part 3 the expression “850 tonnes (meatweight)”
(as amended by clause 2 of the Fisheries (Southern Scallop Fishery Annual Allowable Catch) Order 1994), and substituting the expression “720 tonnes (meatweight)”
.
3 Revocation
The Fisheries (Southern Scallop Fishery Annual Allowable Catch) Order 1994 (SR 1994/145) is hereby consequentially revoked.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which applies to every southern scallop season commencing on or after 30 August 1995, reduces the annual allowable catch for the Southern Scallop fishery from 850 tonnes (meatweight) to 720 tonnes (meatweight).
Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2019.
