His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 105 of the Medicines Act 1981, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, and on the advice of the Minister of Health given after consultation with the organisations or bodies that appear to be representative of persons likely to be substantially affected by the regulations, makes the following regulations.

1 Title
These regulations are the Medicines Amendment Regulations 2014.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 July 2014.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Medicines Regulations 1984 (the principal regulations).
4 Regulation 65 amended (Appeals to District Court)
In regulation 65(2), replace
“District Courts Rules 2009”
with“District Courts Rules 2014”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2014, amend the Medicines Regulations 1984 consequentially on the making of the District Courts Rules 2014.
