This order, which comes into force on 3 October 2024, revokes the following rules because they are no longer required:

Commercial Use of Royal Photographs Rules 1955 (SR 1955/87):
Commercial Use of Royal Photographs Rules 1959 (SR 1959/77):
Commercial Use of Royal Photographs Rules 1962 (SR 1962/81).

This order is revoked on 3 April 2025.

1 General

This is a consolidation of the Revocation of Commercial Use of Royal Photographs Rules Order 2024 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.

2 Legal status

A consolidation is taken to correctly state, as at its stated date, the law enacted or made by the legislation consolidated and by the amendments. This presumption applies unless the contrary is shown.
