7.14 Certificate of exemption
  • (1) The Agency may issue a certificate of exemption from the requirement in clause 7.12 to wear a safety helmet to any person who produces a medical certificate, issued by a registered medical practitioner not more than 60 days before the date on which the person applies to the Agency, to the effect that the person is unable, because of a medical condition, to wear a safety helmet.

    (2) A certificate of exemption is current for a period not exceeding 2 years, and is subject to any terms and conditions that the Agency thinks fit to impose.
