These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Justice.
These regulations are made under section 5 of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013—
(a)
on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Counsel; and
(b)
on the recommendation of the Minister of Police made in accordance with section 5(2) of that Act.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Regulations 2018.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 June 2018.
3 Comanchero Motorcycle Club identified
The group of persons that is known by the name Comanchero Motorcycle Club, or by a name that is substantially similar to that name, is identified as a gang for the purposes of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013.
Regulation 3 heading: amended, on 24 April 2020, by regulation 4 of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Amendment Regulations 2020 (LI 2020/50).
4 Mongols Motorcycle Club identified
The group of persons that is known by the name Mongols Motorcycle Club, or by a name that is substantially similar to that name, is identified as a gang for the purposes of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013.
Regulation 4: inserted, on 24 April 2020, by regulation 5 of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Amendment Regulations 2020 (LI 2020/50).
5 Crips identified
The group of persons that is known by the name Crips, or by a name that is substantially similar to that name, is identified as a gang for the purposes of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013.
Regulation 5: inserted, on 16 June 2023, by regulation 4 of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Amendment Regulations 2023 (SL 2023/81).
6 Finks Motorcycle Club identified
The group of persons that is known by the name Finks Motorcycle Club, or by a name that is substantially similar to that name, is identified as a gang for the purposes of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013.
Regulation 6: inserted, on 16 June 2023, by regulation 4 of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Amendment Regulations 2023 (SL 2023/81).
7 Full Blooded Islanders (FBI) identified

The group of persons that is known by the name Full Blooded Islanders, or by the abbreviation of that name, FBI, or by a name that is substantially similar to that name, is identified as a gang for the purposes of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013.
(2)
To avoid doubt, the group of persons identified in subclause (1) is not intended to include persons belonging to the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation, also known as the FBI.

8 Kuki Squad identified
The group of persons that is known by the name Kuki Squad, or by a name that is substantially similar to that name, is identified as a gang for the purposes of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013.

9 West Side Nation/Uru Taha identified
The group of persons that is known by the name West Side Nation or by the name Uru Taha, or by a name that is substantially similiar to those names, is identified as a gang for the purposes of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013.

1 General
This is a consolidation of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Regulations 2018 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
