This order is made under section 2(4) of the Taxation (Budget 2021 and Remedial Measures) Act 2021 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

1 Title
This order is the Taxation (Budget 2021 and Remedial Measures) Act Commencement Order 2021.
2 Commencement of sections 8(2) and (4) and 9(2) of Taxation (Budget 2021 and Remedial Measures) Act 2021
Sections 8(2) and (4) and 9(2) of the Taxation (Budget 2021 and Remedial Measures) Act 2021 come into force on 1 November 2021.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings sections 8(2) and (4) and 9(2) of the Taxation (Budget 2021 and Remedial Measures) Act 2021 (the Act) into force on 1 November 2021. The commencement of these provisions means that the Act is fully in force on this date.
Date of notification in Gazette: 7 October 2021.
