54 How convention applications are made and dealt with

(1)

A convention application must be made and dealt with in the same manner as any other patent application.

(2)

However, a patent application that is a convention application must—

(a)

include the prescribed information relating to the relevant basic application; and

(b)

be accompanied by a complete specification in accordance with section 36(1); and

(c)

be made and dealt with in accordance with any other additional or different requirements prescribed for convention applications by this Act or regulations.
