Part 1 Preliminary provisions

2 Commencement

(1)

This Act comes into force on 1 January 2004, except for sections 123(1) and 124(2).

(2)

Section 123(1) comes into force on the close of 30 June 2005, or on such earlier date as the Governor-General may fix by Order in Council.

(3)

Section 124(2) comes into force on the close of 30 June 2004.

(4)

An order under this section is secondary legislation (see Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019 for publication requirements).
