Order

1 Title

This order is the State Sector (Te Kāhui Whakamana Rua Tekau mā Iwa—Pike River Recovery Agency) Order 2017.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 31 January 2018.

3 State Sector Act 1988 amended

In the State Sector Act 1988, Schedule 1, insert in its appropriate alphabetical order:

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 31 January 2018, amends the State Sector Act 1988.

Clause 3 inserts a reference to Te Kāhui Whakamana Rua Tekau mā Iwa—Pike River Recovery Agency into the list of departments of the Public Service in Schedule 1.

The effect of this is that Te Kāhui Whakamana Rua Tekau mā Iwa—Pike River Recovery Agency will become a new department and the State Sector Act 1988 will apply to it.
