State Sector Amendment Act (No 2) 2013: repealed, on 7 August 2020, pursuant to section 132(1) of the Public Service Act 2020 (2020 No 40).

The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the State Sector Amendment Act (No 2) 2013.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Principal Act
This Act amends the State Sector Act 1988 (the principal Act).
4 Section 41 amended (Delegation of functions or powers)
Replace section 41(4A) with:
(4A)
Where a written document is used to inform a person of an action taken by a delegate described in subsection (2A), the document must—
(a)
state that the action was taken by a delegate outside the Public Service; and
(b)
give the delegate’s name and office; and
(c)
state that a copy of the instrument of delegation may be inspected at the chief executive’s office.
