An Act to amend the Land Valuation Proceedings Act 1948

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Land Valuation Proceedings Amendment Act 1978, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Land Valuation Proceedings Act 1948 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Regulations

Section 40 of the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting, after subsection (1), the following subsection:

“(1a)

Without limiting the general power to make regulations conferred by subsection (1) of this section, regulations may be made under that subsection prescribing the fees payable in respect of any matters relating to proceedings before Land Valuation Tribunals.”

This Act is administered in the Department of Justice.
