Pursuant to section 32(1) of the Ombudsmen Act 1975, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Ombudsmen Act (Schedule 1—Ministry for Primary Industries) Order 2012.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 30 April 2012.
3 Part 1 of Schedule 1 of Ombudsmen Act 1975 amended

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 30 April 2012, removes the name of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry from Part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 and inserts the name of the Ministry for Primary Industries, which is the new name for the existing Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The effect of the order is that, on and after 30 April 2012, both the Ombudsmen Act 1975 and the Official Information Act 1982 will apply to the Ministry for Primary Industries.
