1 Short Title and commencement

(1)

This Act may be cited as the Ombudsmen Act 1975.

(2)

Part 3 of Schedule 1, and sections 13, 18, and 22 so far as they relate to that Part, shall come into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council.

(3)

Except as provided in subsection (2), this Act shall come into force upon its passing.

(4)

An order under this section is secondary legislation (see Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019 for publication requirements).
