5E Remuneration and allowances

(1)

The Commissioner is to be paid out of public money, without further appropriation than this section, remuneration by way of fees, salary, or allowances and travelling allowances and travelling expenses in accordance with the Fees and Travelling Allowances Act 1951.

(2)

The provisions of the Fees and Travelling Allowances Act 1951 apply as if the Commissioner were a member of a statutory board and any travelling undertaken by the Commissioner were in the service of a statutory board.
