New Zealand Legislation: Regulations
Regulations are laws made under Acts
(1) Words and expressions used in this notice that are defined in the Fisheries (1986-87 Commercial Quotas) Regulations 19861, shall, unless the context otherwise requires, have the same meanings in this notice.
(2) For the purposes of this notice—
(a) Amaltal Coolstores and Exporters Limited are referred to as “Amaltal”
, and shall be deemed to include Amalsov Fish Ltd., Talleys Fisheries Ltd., and the Amaltal Taiyo Fishery Company Limited Partnership:
(b) Fletcher Fishing Limited are referred to as “Fletcher”
, and shall be deemed to include Fletcher Sovrybflot Fishing Ltd., and Jaybel Nichimo Fishing Ltd.:
(ba) Independent Fisheries Ltd., are referred to as “Independent”
:
(c) Sanford Limited are referred to as “Sanford”
, and shall be deemed to include Sanmar Fisheries Ltd., and the Sanford Limited Joint Venture:
(d) Sanford South Island Limited are referred to as “Sanford South Island”
, and shall be deemed to include Nichiro Sanford Fisheries New Zealand Ltd.:
(e) Sealord Products Limited are referred to as “Sealord”

(f) South Island Deepwater Fishing Company Limited are referred to as SIDWF, and shall be deemed to include Deep Cove Fisheries Ltd, Globe Export Fisheries Ltd, Kenton Trawling Co Ltd, Otakou Fisheries Ltd, C H Shadbolt Family Trust, Deepwater Holdings Ltd, and Wilson Neil Export Services Ltd.:
(g) Skeggs Foods 1987 Limited are referred to as “Skeggs”

(h) Southland Fish Processors Co-operative Limited are referred to as “Southland Co-op”
, and shall be deemed to include Bapobs Ltd, Bluff Seafood Processors Ltd, Johnson's Oysters, Johnson and de Rijk Packing Co Ltd, Solander Fisheries (Bluff) Ltd, Riverton Fishermen's Co-op Ltd, Stewart Island Fishermen's Co-op Ltd, Urwin and Co, and Mossburn Enterprises Ltd:
(ha) United Fisheries Limited are referred to as “United”

(i) Wanganui Trawlers Limited are referred to as “Wanganui”
, and shall be deemed to include Pacific Oyang Ltd:
(j) J. Wattie Canneries Limited are referred to as “Watties”
, and shall be deemed to include the Wattie and Taiyo Fishing Partnership, Wattie-Taiyo, and New Zealand Economic Zone Exports Ltd.
Regulation 3(2)(ba) was inserted by regulation 2(1) Fisheries (1986-87 Commercial Quotas Allocation) Notice 1986, Amendment No 1 (SR 1986/356).
Regulations 3(2)(f) and (h) were substituted by regulation 2(2) and (3) Fisheries (1986-87 Commercial Quotas Allocation) Notice 1986, Amendment No 1 (SR 1986/356) respectively.
Regulations 3(2)(g) and (ha) were substituted by regulation 2(1) and (2) Fisheries (1986-87 Commercial Quotas Allocation) Notice 1986, Amendment No 2 (SR 1987/112) respectively.
